To save time we make or take shortcuts, some make us and some break us. These shortcuts wouldn't break you but instead help you reduce time in starting the utilities or programs you use regularly.
If you want that the time it takes you to run a small utility reduced drastically then launch your favorite applications, or open your fav.txt document, the good thing is that Window's built in for creating a keyboard shortcut will launch anything.
Instructions:-
1. Right-click the to-be-short cut file or application and select Create shortcut.
2. Move that shortcut anywhere you want.
3. Right-click the shortcut and select Properties. In the Shortcut tab of the Properties dialog, click in the Shortcut key input and type your preferred shortcut. Click OK.
The easiest but the oldest method is the above one, so we often neglect it because we feel that it doesn’t reduces much time but if you have to sit all day long on PC and do various things then you’ll really feel this a convenient method.
When you add a shortcut key make sure that it do resembles with something that the application do like for launching the browser you can make alt+b or anything like this as browser will always be remembered by you.
But the new thing is that Shortcut keys work differently depending on the location of the shortcut. If the shortcut is on the desktop or in the Start menu hierarchy, you can use its shortcut key to start the assigned program, or switch to the program if it is already running.
If the shortcut is not on the desktop or in the Start menu hierarchy, you cannot use its shortcut key to start the assigned program, but you can use its shortcut key to switch to the assigned program if it is already running. Click here
I hope this post help you. Please give you feedback's in our comment box. :)
